Salesforce is implementing new proactive security measures to prevent the compromise of customer data through unauthorized Connected App use. As a result, Salesforce will restrict the use of all uninstalled connected apps in Salesforce orgs. Below are the official links that Salesforce shared regarding this change.
Previously authorized Connected Apps (including some from Copado) are likely not "installed" and thus considered "uninstalled" apps in the context of the Salesforce security update. Please ensure a system administrator follows the steps outlined in this document to ensure that Copado Connected Apps are compliant and remain operational as security updates take effect in Sandboxes and Production Orgs between August 28th and September 17th.
What to do next: Steve Simpson, VP of Global Enablement at Copado, has prepared this short video walking through the precise steps required to ensure continuity of functionality through the security update.
If you have any questions, Copado will be hosting multi-daily office hours to support our customers, starting tomorrow, August 28th, 2025. To view available time slots and register for office hours, please visit any link below to join at your preferred time.
