Meet the men behind the magic.

Copado’s founders didn’t set out to change the world — they just wanted to see their families more often. In 2013, two release engineers (Federico Larsen and Philipp Rackwitz) built the first end-to-end native DevOps platform for Salesforce to combat all the late nights, weekend war rooms and overworked teams. And the rest is history.

Today, Copado is powered by 700+ employees across 15+ countries and four continents. We accelerate digital transformation for the most powerful brands on the planet. And we’ve never lost sight of our founders’ vision: To make release days obsolete.

Ted Elliott
Chief Executive Officer

Ted is the Chief Executive Officer of Copado. Before joining Copado in November 2018, Ted spent 18 years as the CEO of Jobscience, one of the first 5 ISV partners to Salesforce, until the company’s acquisition by Bullhorn. During his time with Jobscience, Ted experienced the challenges of releasing innovation on the Salesforce platform, and now strives to transform customers’ DevOps processes with Copado, the #1 DevOps platform for Salesforce.

Chief Executive Officer

Ted is the Chief Executive Officer of Copado. Before joining Copado in November 2018, Ted spent 18 years as the CEO of Jobscience, one of the first 5 ISV partners to Salesforce, until the company’s acquisition by Bullhorn. During his time with Jobscience, Ted experienced the challenges of releasing innovation on the Salesforce platform, and now strives to transform customers’ DevOps processes with Copado, the #1 DevOps platform for Salesforce.

Philipp Rackwitz
Founder & Chief Strategy Officer

Philipp is the co-founder and Chief Strategy officer of Copado. Tired of managing error-prone manual releases, Philipp worked with fellow release engineer Federico Larsen to build a platform to improve release management on the Salesforce platform. As chief strategy officer, he built and manages the Copado Academy with the goal of inspiring widespread usage of DevOps practices for Salesforce.

Philipp is the co-founder and Chief Strategy officer of Copado. Founder & Chief Technology Officer

After 11 years in the IT space, Federico saw a need for a platform that increased the efficiency of complex manual releases on the Salesforce platform. This inspired him to work with fellow release engineer Philipp Rackwitz to build a management system for Salesforce deployments. As the Chief Technology Officer of Copado Federico continues to work to improve and expand the platform’s capabilities to better serve customers.

Federico Larsen
Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Sanjay Gidwani
Chief Operating Officer

After 6 years working for Salesforce culminating in the position of VP, Success Cloud, Sanjay joined Copado as the Senior Vice President, Growth. He’s now Copado’s COO and manages Operations and Customer Success. Sanjay’s leadership helps guide organizations on their journey through the 5 levels of DevOps maturity to better utilize the power of the Salesforce platform.

After 6 years working for Salesforce culminating in the position of VP, Success Cloud, Sanjay joined Copado as the Senior Vice President, Growth. David Dahlberg
Chief Marketing Officer

Dave has been helping Cloud software companies build their go to market strategies since 1999. He’s spent time at industry stalwarts such as Oracle, Siebel and and Salesforce, but has also spearheaded growth strategies at multiple startups within the Salesforce and Intel ecosystems. He’s spent the last 17 years in the Salesforce ecosystem and joined Copado in early 2022. Dave has run multiple marketing organizations in the software industry, but has also built sales development, alliances and solution engineering teams as well as a UI / UX practice.

David Dahlberg
Chief Marketing Officer

Dave has been helping Cloud software companies build their go to market strategies since 1999. CRO / Chief Revenue Officer

Bob is a passionate sales executive with a proven track record of building high-powered teams and driving revenue for global software enterprises. As Chief Revenue Officer of Copado, Bob leverages 30+ years of leadership experience to scale international growth and implement sales strategies that increase deal sizes, close rates and unlock customer success. Before joining Copado, Bob spearheaded direct and indirect sales operations for SaaS leaders such as Qualys, Zylo, Conga, Worksoft and Rocket Software.

CRO / Chief Revenue Officer

Bob is a passionate sales executive with a proven track record of building high-powered teams and driving revenue for global software enterprises. As Chief Revenue Officer of Copado, Bob leverages 30+ years of leadership experience to scale international growth and implement sales strategies that increase deal sizes, close rates and unlock customer success. Before joining Copado, Bob spearheaded direct and indirect sales operations for SaaS leaders such as Qualys, Zylo, Conga, Worksoft and Rocket Software.

Pam Bellner
SVP & General Counsel

With over 20 years of experience in the legal field, Pam’s legal career has evolved to – and her passion lies in – overseeing legal and regulatory compliance matters and providing strategic partnership to internal business partners, the executive team and board of directors. Most recently, she was General Counsel of Catalytic where she oversaw the legal, finance, compliance and talent teams. Prior to Catalytic, Pam spent 9 years heading up the legal function at Fieldglass and successfully completed Fieldglass’ $1 billion merger with SAP.

With extensive experience in guiding companies through periods of transformation as a result of high growth, he is responsible for Copado’s finance team and financial strategy.

Since 2010, Matt has been helping organizations across Europe realize the power of the Salesforce platform. Matt joined Copado in October of 2018 as the Managing Director EMEA, and strives to help Salesforce customers scale their organizations and maximize value with a true DevOps process.
